PROJECT SKYFORCE

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones, have the potential to solve both security, labor and cost issues across several industries, but physical limitations such as flying time and range are limiting their true potential at an affordable price. This is where the SkyForce UAV comes into focus.

The SkyForce UAV will be designed to meet security, surveillance and inspection needs of critical infrastructure asset owners, managers and departments. As a fully autonomous quadcopter style aerial vehicle, it will:

  • fly patrols day and night, in all weather conditions

  • respond to alarms, transmit live video, and communicate key reports.

  • equipped with standard HD and thermal cameras for vision capture and monitoring

  • have maximal flight times of 35-45 minutes, 10-25 minutes longer than conventional security drones

  • cover 50 acres in a single mission-type flight

Paired with ThermOptical Cooling’s patented sustainable laser technology and previous work conducted by Founder & CEO Victor A. Rivas at NASA Glenn Research Center with hybrid power systems, longer range, flight time and battery lifecycle is what will define the SkyForce UAV from the competition.
